Eastside Riding Academy is proudly family owned and operated with a team that prides themselves on maintaining a professional, enjoyable and inviting facility suitable for all riders and ambitions.
Our coaches, support personnel and team members are as enthusiastic about horse riding as you are; it won’t matter to us if you’re a beginner, an intermediate, or an expert – we will do everything that we can to help you to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Children's Programs
10 week, structured riding programs for Junior Jockeys through to aspiring professionals.
Classic Riding Lessons
A great place to start whether you are an Adult or Child. Private lessons, Shared Lessons, Group Lessons.
School Holiday Programs
7 hours of horsey education for kids of all levels. Includes 2 rides, theory and a heap of fun!

About Us
Eastside Riding Academy has alway been a family owned and run business. In 2020, Eastside welcomed a new owner and family to its management. The Loots Family.
Kirsten Loots is the happy new owner and manager of Eastside Riding Academy. Having recently moved from South Africa to Australia with her husband, Terence, and their four children; Nicholas, Kelly, Peter and Daniel.
Kirsten is a veterinarian by profession but has always combined this with her passion for coaching and equestrian sport. She is a qualified Level 2 coach and is thoroughly enjoying coaching at Eastside.
In South Africa Kirsten and Terence own a busy riding school and also Waterside Stud where they breed sports horses and ponies. As a family, they are enjoying what will be long future with Eastside and meeting lots of new friends.
