Holiday Camps

Our holiday programs are extremely popular, catering for the complete beginner to the aspiring competitor! The Eastside holiday programs are an excellent way to improve the riding skills you already have, or make a start at this exciting sport. Please contact us as soon as you can, as places are strictly limited and fill quickly.

What do we do?
Each rider will have two rides a day. This includes one group lesson and one park ride. Groups will be small and divided according to the child's age and experience. Each group will be instructed by an experienced head coach as well as an assistant coach to ensure that no one misses out on the important aspects of riding.

The remaining time in between rides will be filled with correct handling of their horse and horse management. As well as this they will learn about feeding, veterinarian care, lunging, farrier, boots and bandages and show preparation. The list goes on and on!

What do we eat?

Unfortunately, due to the increasing dietary needs of camp participants, we are unable to provide lunch. However, morning and afternoon tea as well as drinks are provided by Eastside at no extra cost. Parents are welcome to supply any extra drinks or snacks. There is also access to drink and snack vending machines on site.

What to bring?
You will not need to purchase anything for the holiday programs as we have a large selection of boots and approved standard safety helmets available to borrow each day. If you would prefer to purchase any clothing, helmets, boots or other accessories, please feel free to contact our staff on 9360 7521 for your nearest saddlery.

Please ensure that your child arrives in the following attire:
– Long, comfortable pants. (Tights or tracksuit bottoms are preferable over jeans but not essential.)
– Shirt with sleeves.
– Any extra clothing that may be needed for a hot, cold or wet day.
